Our response to Coronavirus (Covid-19)

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the cancellation of the Gilbert and Sullithon 2020. We have done this to concur with the Government’s declarations regarding behaviour during the Corona Virus pandemic.

What is the Sullithon?

The Gilbert & Sullithon is a marathon, back-to-back performance of all 13 Gilbert & Sullivan operettas to raise money for charity through the sponsorship of participants.

Taking place over approximately 21 hours, the Sullithon features around 250 participants who graciously donate their time and collect sponsorship for great causes.

Imagine, if you would, the sound of 200 or more ladies (we hope) “Tripping Hither, Tripping Thither” and maybe a chorus of 100+ men for the “Entrance and March of Peers”!

Over the years the Gilbert & Sullithon has raised more than £22,000 for good causes.
